Hotel Elizabeth (Baguio Fersal Gardens)

Fersal Exterior Visualization-Rendering

Location: Gibraltar corner Felipe Street, Baguio City

Owner: Adolfo Realty Corporation

Program: RGC&A won this project through an owner-conducted competition. Having bested four other architects to garner the honor of undertaking this prestigious project. Design medium- to high-income amenities to cater to the demands of a descriminating hotel clientele.

Solution: The owner singled-out RGC&A's conceptual design entry because of its highly effective integration of the amenities required under the owner's program into a limited footprint. Add to this the efficient preservation of the site's natural topography; where only two medium-grown trees were proposed to be felled. The room design has been tailored to appropriately fit the upscale market. Other amenities include a spa, function rooms, cafe, restaurant and exterior fine dining. Ample parking is achieved by way of an effectively laid out basement and an additional exterior open parking. One parking slot per room is allocated, to guarantee sufficient parking at all times. A distinctive Victorian style is deployed upon the request of the well-travelled owners who required for the hotel premises to remind them of their frequent European and U.S. visits. The penthouse levels are designed as the owner's family apartments which can be shared with friends from both Manila and abroad.

Prior to its opening, the Baguio Fersal Gardens project was renamed by its owners as the Hotel Elizabeth. Guests who visit the place consistently note its distinctive facade and exceptional interior ambiance.
